Montana Fly Fishing

There are very few places that can match the beauty and the variety of trout water than the mountains of western Montana. These rivers boast some of the best dry fly fishing in the country and will start to fish as early as March and continue into November. The Bitterroot, Blackfoot, Clark Fork rivers and Rock Creek are just the beginning of the hatch abundant waters that we guide and many will fish each one during a stay in the area because of their close proximity to Missoula Montana. Fishing is generally done from a drift boat or raft and the guides are the best in western Montana.
Fishing can be done on a daily basis or as a multi day fishing/lodging package. We work with several local lodges that range from simple cabins on the river to the full blown 5 star lodge experience. We can make up your package easily to fit your needs.
If you love to fly fish, you need to treat yourself to see this wonderful part of the west.

This is a fly caster’s and Spey caster’s dream water as each camp is strategically built on exceptional steelhead water, giving you the freedom to fish as late into evening as you desire. All of the trips are conducted with high – sided drift boats and rafts which offer you peaceful access to the best runs, riffles and tail outs. The camps are equipped with very comfortable, heated canvas wall tents on raised wooden decks and are located at the mid point of two spectacular 20 mile float trips. Alaska Salmon Fishing

The king, sockeye and silver salmon fishing opportunities available only to our guests are second to none in diversity and will leave you with sore arms and a renewed taste for adventure. We begin these salmon fishing adventures where the Bearing Sea meets the most productive fishing waters in the region. These area waters have some of the largest salmon runs on the Aleutian Island chain. Unlike many salmon rivers in other parts of the state, these are a bit smaller and more easily fished; but big enough to travel via jet boat to all the best fishing spots. Because these rivers are fairly small and easy to wade, both fly fishing and conventional techniques are very effective.

Alaska Steelhead

Fishing the Aleutian Islands for steelhead is a trip all serious anglers should take. Breath taking views, zero crowds and 100% wild steelhead. These waters are perfect for all types of anglers; sink tips, dry line or conventional gear. Compared to many steelhead rivers these rivers are relatively small and easily waded; but still large enough to run our boats to where we need to be at any given time. Pound for pound, the Bering Sea steelhead is among the toughest you will find anywhere. Come join us in one of the final, untouched sport fishing destinations in the world.
