Larry just keeps rockin’ the Chinooks over in Oregon. Here’s Son, Zach, daughter Cassidy and other family members all getting in on the action. Can’t wait for my Salmon fillets!!
Justin did it again in his little elk hole. He started hunting elk 5 years ago and has stuck one 4 of those 5! I left him at 5:00pm near his spot and he called me at 7:30pm with the news he’d zipped one at 15 yards. Apryle’s just there for the packing!!
Congrats to 12 year old Taylor Wake of Morgan Hill on his first buck. Taylor got his hunt with Mike at the Mule Deer Foundation dinner. Mike said he cleaned it and helped pack it himself!! Nice first Blacktail Taylor!
Larry and his buddies have been pounding away on the Chinooks near the Oregon coast. He keeps tormenting me with a new tex every day with pics of more of these beauties! Not fair!
Nick is probably busting at the seams to get back to Oregon in a couple of weeks. A sample trail cam picture from Gordon, our Oregon outfitter. I’d take this one Nick!!!
Tim from Florence Montana with his opening day , archery “Speed Goat“. Being the calm and collective guy that he is, he made smooth 68-yard shot with his new PSE bow. Nice shot!!
Evan had a big surprise on the trail camera he set up at his elk spot a couple weeks ago. There are actually 4 wolves in this shot when you look closely. Hopefully, there are still a couple of elk left!! Next time, maybe they’ll smile for the cross-hairs!!!
Evan decided to bypass shooting his first antelope with a rifle and went right to his Bear bow and shot this nice “Speed Goat” doe for the freezer! Evan and his roommates at the University of Montana will eat good for at least a couple of weeks until Evan shoots his bull elk and who […]
Greg Stone just got back from his adventure with our Yukon outfitter and had a tremendous hunt. Greg shot a beautiful light colored Fannin ram, a 71/2 foot inland Grizzly and a huge Mountain Caribou!! I’m sure it won’t be long until he’s back in the Yukon. Maybe a Moose ???
Got into one of the elk wallows last night and built a blind about 30 yds away hopefully, on the prevailing downwind side! Sat up a game cam. Saw a few good rubs too. It’s supposed to be hot this week so maybe we’ll get some good pics. Wallow had some good tracks around it.
